Avocado-Lime Cheesecake1

No-Bake Avocado Lime Cheesecake

I am still taking advantage of avocado season, which inspires me to formulate more recipes using this awesome ingredient. I won't deny that this Avocado Lime Cheesecake is one of the best recipes that I made! I saw different versions of this recipe online, so I created my own. This dessert is somehow very Mexican, because of avocado and lime are their staples. After sampling this dessert, the avocado showcased its flavor...having a creamy texture that goes perfectly well with cream cheese, and a little tangy flavor of lime that makes this dessert refreshing!

Pavlova5

Strawberry Pavlova

The first time I had this dessert was 11 years ago when I was working as a Chef in Quaglinos Restaurant, London. It gave me a strong impression on how dessert can be relatively simple and luxurious at the same time. With its sweet crispy meringue crust, a soft (not chewy) marshmallow centre, topped generously with chantilly cream, and abundance of seasonal fresh fruits. This has always been the perfect dessert for summer season, as the berries make the totality of Pavlova.

There are many claims of having the "best chocolate cake recipe" and maybe, they are. I developed and tried different versions of chocolate cake. And so far, this recipe is ultimately good and top of my list! You can’t resist its incredibly moist texture, sweetness is just right to the palate without feeling guilt…and the chocolate buttercream frosting makes it wonderful--the smooth texture of chocolate and cocoa butter provides creamy goodiness that melts in our mouth. So, go ahead, prepare the ingredients and try this recipe and let a slice transcend you to chocolate lover’s paradise!

ChocoPecan2

German Chocolate Cake with Coconut Pecan Frosting

This decadent German chocolate cake will be your instant favorite! It is layered generously with sweet, caramely and nutty coconut pecan frosting. A traditional German chocolate cake has three layers of moist chocolate cake and the frosting are only in between layers of each cake, leaving its sides bare. This cake is so elegant and divine! With this recipe, it can create three layers of chocolate cake, but since I want to impress my friend, I pour the cake batter for third layer in a small baking pan and make a small version of this cake. If you are about to make this, please double the recipe because me, myself cannot control eating the frosting and can finish them in one snap…it tops all the frosting!
