Chocolate Walnut Biscotti

This Chocolate Walnut Biscotti has a wonderful crisp and crunchy texture that is perfect for dunking in our freshly-brewed coffee...or even in our hot chocolate. They are loaded with chunks of roasted walnuts. Please be reminded that toasting the nuts does not only removes the bitter taste but also enhances the sweet, rich and buttery flavor of the nut. Place walnuts on a baking tray and bake in an oven (180 degrees Celsius) for 10 minutes or until brown and fragrant. Remove from oven and let it cool before chopping coarsely.

Pistachio Cranberry Biscotti

I always start my day with a heavy breakfast and a cup of coffee...and some sweets for motivation. Having such sweet tooth, I must have unlimited types of dessert for noshing. There are times that I am craving for a heavy-sweet sugary cookie and some other times my palate is salivating for little something sweet that is crunch and light. And biscotti has the perfect balance of light sweet and a lovely treat for my coffee. Do not be frustrated if making biscotti can be a time-consuming endeavour (patience), the best part is, they are not overly difficult to bake at home. I have several notes that you can follow to make a perfect biscotti.
